SJVN-UP BESS Project — Enerica Infra 3 Private Limited (EI3PL)
Enerica Infra 3 Private Limited (EI3PL) was awarded the SJVN-UP BESS Project on 4 July 2025 — a 187.5 MW / 750 MWh standalone Battery Energy Storage System in Uttar Pradesh, secured via Tariff-Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) and developed on a Build, Own & Operate (BOO) basis.
Under a 15-year Battery Energy Storage Purchase Agreement (BESPA) signed in July 2025, the project supplies Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL) via SJVN Limited as intermediary procurer, delivering one operational cycle a day with four-hour discharge. Located at the 400/220 kV Garautha Substation in Jhansi district, it is EnerGrid's first and flagship BESS project — marking its entry into India's utility-scale battery storage sector.
